Natasha Danskine

Natasha Danskine has worked with children with special needs for over 5 years. She started out in Miami Beach, FL., where she was born, working as a surf instructor for children with autism for 4 consecutive years.

After moving to California in 2011, Natasha got training from a private agency in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Discrete Trial Training (DTT) working in typically a one on one setting for at home therapy. In addition to her training, Natasha has an AA in exceptional education and is currently attending California State University for her degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology. In the summer of 2012, Natasha found Rays of Funshine, fell in love with the business immediately and has been interning there ever since.

When not at Funshine, she dedicates most of her time to at home therapy for kids with special needs, surfing the beautiful beaches of California, or hiking with her puppy Loki!

Jason Galardy

Jason Galardy has been working in the financial services sector since 2004. Jason received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and graduated with honors from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland. Jason cut his teeth at Lydian Wealth Management in the Washington, D.C. area, and moved to Southern California in 2005 where he began working as a Financial Planner for Ayco - Goldman Sachs. After leaving Goldman Sachs in late 2008, Jason joined Trilogy financial services in 2009 where he was promoted to Vice President of Investments in late 2013. In 2014, Jason partnered with NettWorth Financial Group to head his own Regional office in Orange County. Jason specializes in comprehensive wealth management for individual and institutional clients with services including investment, tax, insurance, and estate planning.

Jason is extremely excited to join Funshine in their quest to make the future brighter for those affected by Autism and other similar disorders. Jason has already seen the amazing results of Funshine's work first-hand, and cannot wait to help Funshine raise awareness, combat bullying, and give children the individual tools they need to thrive in today's world.

Monica Hetherington

Monica Hetherington has been working with children for over 9 years. Monica received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior at University of California, Irvine. During this time she worked at the UCI Child Development Center assisting in research and treatment for children with special needs. One year after graduating Monica completed the teacher credential program at UCI and received a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Monica has been teaching first grade in the Garden Grove School District for 9 years. She has a love and passion for teaching and working with children. When she learned about Rays of Funshine and all that they do to help children with special needs, she knew she wanted to help.

When Monica is not working she enjoys spending time with her family. She especially loves spending time with her 2 year old daughter going to the beach, the library and just watching her grow. This year she also welcomed a new addition to her family, a baby boy.

Aya Armendariz

Aya has been working with children with special needs for almost 10 years. She developed her love and passion for teaching when she began working for a school district as a Behavior Interventionist. After working as a Behavior Interventionist for about 3 years, Aya was offered a teaching position at the same school district. She is now in her 6th year of teaching an Autism Specific Special Day Class at a middle school.

Aya received a Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Psychology from the University of California, Irvine in 2006. After taking one year off, Aya pursued her teaching credential in Moderate to Severe disabilities and Master’s degree in Special Education at Chapman University, graduating in 2010.

Jackie Schultz

Jackie works as a bid manger for a large global consulting/outsourcing company, where she is responsible for facilitating the the sales process for large opportunities across North America. Her background is in finance where she previously was a project finance manager with the same company before switching into her current roles in 2013. She is passionate about the efforts and care that Rays of Funshine brings to the community and believes bringing affordable therapy and resources to everyone is a cause worth backing. She grew up in Texas and moved to Orange County 2 years ago and couldn't be happier!
